We took our first vacation at an all inclusive resort...and loved every minute of it! We stayed at Club Med Bali. The resort offers transfers to and from the airport, open bar, all meals, child/teen supervision, and a wide choice of activities.
The resort.
The pool was divided into two pools, a lap pool for adults and a children's wading pool.
Kiss!
Starting to learn how to paddle.
Ethan showing his muscles. When we ask him to try new foods we usually say that it helps him grow big and strong. Then E will then laugh and demonstrate flexing his muscles (with added pretend grunts). Unfortunately the actual tasting of new foods does not happen.
I'm too sexy for my hair.
There are private cabanas surrounding the pool and beach area.
The beach. This was the only part of the resort that was not as impressive as the rest. The sand was a bit coarse and not well kept. But it was very scenic.
Beach activities such as windsurfing, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking are all included free as part of the resort package.
Bob took a complimentary windsurfing lesson.
The Mini Club. Children older than 4 and teens can join their respective clubs for free. For children between the ages 2 and 4, the Petite Club Med costs extra. However, that only applies if you want to drop your child off under the GO's care. Otherwise you can still use the clubhouse facilities for free.
Trapeze lessons are offered for anyone older than four.
The restaurant. There is a daily buffet offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner (for dinner you can also choose to eat at the restaurant in lieu of the buffet). Snacks and light meals are offered in between. All the food is pretty yummy, especially considering it's a buffet.
Isn't Bali just awesome!?! It is one of my favorite vacations and hope to go back one day. We stayed at the Ritz when we went about 4 years ago and loved every minute of it. Great to see pictures of you guys - Ethan is growing so fast!
