Anna is now two months old! She loves to smile back at you when you smile at her and she is starting to babble a lot.
Her favorite activity is when you hold her close to your face and talk with her and she also likes to babble to her friends on the gymani too (her favorite is the giraffe). When she gets tired she will complain to you by babbling extra loudly. Her nighttime sleep is going pretty well - she will give us a good 5-7 hour stretch of sleep at night (too bad she sleeps early like her brother!) followed by a 3-4 stretch and then another 3 hour stretch of sleep - so she usually sleeps 12-13 hours at night with two feedings in between. Her daytime naps is much harder to do - she usually is up for about 1.5 hours between each nap and sleeps about 40 minutes (morning) to 1.5 hours if we are lucky (afternoon nap is longest)! The hard part is getting her to nap in the crib since she usually likes the constant rocking of the car or stroller (in which case she passes out instantaneously). Funnily enough she hates the swing just like her big brother did. She used to hate being held upright but these days she prefers it vs being held horizontally. She is not a fan of tummy time and usually complains loudly whenever you try it.
She just started batting at her friends on the gymani and grabbing the toys (she once held the giraffe for what seemed like 10 minutes).
My favorite thing that she does is this super cute stretch and wiggle she does whenever she wakes up from a good nap or right after she eats. She looks so content and then right after she will stare at you happily. Love!
Her 2 month check up was a little bit late but these are her stats (9.5 weeks):
Height: 22.24 in
Head Circumference: 39.5 cm
Versus big brother at 2 months:
Weight: 11 lbs 10 ou Height: 22.75 in
Head Circumference: 39.1 cm
