Seaport Village
Ethan loved looking at and chasing the ducks
There was a man who was able to balance all those rocks using only his hands.
Old Town
When I was your age....
The New Children's Museum
Okay, the picture above is completely doctored. I just couldn't get a non-blurry shot of Ethan in the foam house.
Bubble time!
Here is a bubble wand for you! Ethan was fascinated by the pipe cleaners.
The Bobily Channel
The wooden Trojan horse/observation deck.
Wild Animal Park
Ethan was more interested in playing with the plastic curtains at the entrance than looking at any of the animals
Evidently we are a bird obsessed family
First Carousel Ride! Ethan was excited until the animals actually started moving.
La Jolla
Children's Pool at La Jolla
Hmmm...to go on the beach or not.
Balboa Park
No Pagans!
Choo Choo!
Mission Beach Area
Father and Son Side by Side Always
Hey, someone stole Daddy's shoes!
Someone decided Daddy needed some help.
We also did a lot of playgrounds and even stopped by a Gymboree
Being a penguin.
Taking a break from all the fun.
Hmmm, I don't think you play tic-tac-toe that way.
Contemplating his next move...
No more pictures please!
But the number one thing that Ethan liked to do was just chill out and play in the front of a real (don't worry it was parked!) car. He snubs our golf cart back at home now. All in all the trip was great fun. Jet-lag was not. We did eventually co-sleep while on vacation, which is Bob's dream, but on the return Ethan missed his own crib so much he ran for it and started laughing when he got inside.
