Candy Making

Over Christmas we decided to make some winter themed chocolates. Ethan wasn't really interested in the candy making process. In fact, he abandoned the effort early on by declaring a lunch break and idly watched us make the chocolates while munching on a banana.

However once he realized the finished product was edible (and delicious!) he perked up quickly. He was very generous and offered bites of his piece of chocolate to Mommy and Daddy...until it was all gone and he found that no more chocolate was forth coming. Meltdown! Good thing a cracker was deemed just as acceptable and he was happily munching away once again.

Are all these for me?
That was yummy. Can I have more?

What do you mean they are all gone?

  1. I love your storytelling of this chocolate making event! The pictures go perfectly! It's so funny how so upset when they can't have more...I wonder when we learn not to cry when we can't have more chocolate? ;) heehee
