Hong Kong Park

We took a visit to the Hong Kong Park in Central to visit the bird aviary.  It's a pretty nice park and Ethan liked looking at the birds.  Okay, he mostly liked racing down the wooden decks.  Show him a hill and he has to run up and down it.

I have never seen birds like these before.  The feathery heads were kinda scary yet pretty at the same time.

It was a fun afternoon.  Hong Kong Park is open daily and also free!

  1. Are those Blue-Crowned Pigeons? Reminds me of the Na'vi tribe in Avatar. Strange yet beautiful once you get over the initial shock...

  2. Oh yes, thank you! I think those are what they are. I've never seen a bird like that before. I wish we had taken a better picture of the profile, but they look like the blue-crowned pigeons.
